Hello, my name is Jessica.

I am a fully qualified and accredited Nutritionist, I hold an Adv. Dip Nutritional Medicine and a Post Graduate Diploma of Integrated Iridology – trained by Toni Miller. On top of this, I am a Mum, a wife, a Naturopath student and I run my own Nutrition Consulting business. My own health journey began when I started to experience digestive complaints and women’s problems!  I discovered I had an ovarian cyst – which was benign, but in any case … it did not have a place inside my body.

“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.”

Up until this point, I hadn’t given what I ate, a second thought and unfortunately today, I think a lot of people share a similar story. So, working with an amazing Naturopath, we treated that cyst, I completely changed my way of eating and made sure I was equipping my body with plenty of fresh air and sunshine. I became really focused on being well, that all those foods that I once ate, didn’t even appeal to me any more. Even in social gatherings, when offered to me, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to refuse to put that food that I once thought was harmless, into my body.

I became a Mum to my Daughter, and I was happy because I had primed my body, and felt confident that I had invested in my child’s health, to give her a good head start. When my Daughter, Elluka, was 1, I decided that while I was home raising her that it would be good to study, but I had long struggled with deciding between ‘Naturopathy’ or ‘Nutrition’. So I thought about it and came to the realisation that I needed to learn how to properly nourish my child as a first priority and to continue to build a strong foundation of health for her future, and that studying Nutrition was the best choice for me at this stage.

A couple of years later, another gorgeous little human joined our family, my Son Eli. I continued to study and once I finished Nutrition I went onto study Iridology. I was proud of my accomplishment – it’s definitely not easy to study with two small children at home full time.

I was always fanatical about my children and food. I only ever fed them fresh food made by myself. Even when we travelled by car from Queensland – WA with our 9 month old Daughter … there was still no packet foods for the trip…there was one crazy lady up late in the motel – packing wholesome, nutritious food for her most precious, for the following day. Now they are bit older, I’m a bit more flexible however, they understand why I say no sometimes, because it’s explained to them. I think the thing I love the most is being able to explain to my children, how to understand their bodies whispers…why Eli has a sore tummy, after he gorged himself at a high tea – he overfilled his tummy and it takes time for the stomach to digest and empty. Or why Elluka had a fever, once…because her body was fighting off an invader and it does that by killing it with heat. Kids love this stuff! And I really don’t think they are taught enough of it, so in our home its different and its my priority to teach them to respect and value the body’s ability to perform all functions necessary for health and happiness.

When I decided to study Iridology,. I was fortunate enough to have studied with Toni Miller – a renowned, modern day professional Iridologist and teacher. She taught me so much about the Iris…one very small part of the human body. Me being crazy about all things natural – I decided that I would continue with my education and study Naturopathy, and I am loving herbs and homoeopathy as well.

When we stop and think about it, our bodies are an amazing machine. Every function has a purpose, every organ does something useful to keep the body running and every part of the body, talks to other parts of the body. It’s one BIG machine and I think when we love it, it pays us back ten-fold.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in the power of healing holistically with nutrition and using nutrition as a preventative and I use these skills and experience to assist my clients in becoming the best version of themselves, that they can be. There is no one ‘right’ diet because each of us is different. Jessica must be doing something right, as she has no weight issues, no skin irritations, no sleep problems, ample energy and rarely is sick. Her children have glowing skin, are calm, well behaved and are both above average in their intellectual abilities for their age group and are not plagued by asthma or eczema like a large percentage of their peers.

Jessica is a passionate, determined and educated professional of her modality and uses her education and experience to help others improve their quality of life so they too can enjoy healthier, more fulfilling lives and she can help you too.
